Living in Middlesex, Arjun Chawda has been playing the drums since he was eight years old. As well as playing drums, Arjun plays acoustic guitar and he enjoys generating and editing music and listening to and appreciating other genres of music.
In secondary school, Arjun Chawda won first place in The Young Musicians competition, where, with a friend, he composed an original drum duet.
The following year, Arjun achieved second place in the same competition, where he improvised a drum solo. At the end of his time in secondary school he was awarded the “Best Musician of the School” shield.
Arjun Chawda’s two wishes for the future are becoming a professional session drummer and playing with other professional musicians.
In January 2006 Arjun Chawda was one of the finalists of the Young Drummer of the Year (YDOTY), organised by mikedolbear.com.
