Anton Fier was born on June 20, 1956 in Cleveland, Ohio, United States. He is a drummer, composer and bandleader.



Anton Fier was an early member of The Lounge Lizards and The Feelies, was in The Lodge (with John Greaves and others), worked with Pere Ubu (replacing original drummer Scott Krauss) and founded The Golden Palominos.



Anton Fier has collaborated extensively with Bill Laswell and has played drums with Los Lobos.
