Alexei Rodriguez (also named Alexi and sometimes using the alias of Jesús L. Pecador and Baron Burri Von Blixen) was percussionist in acts like Trial, Umlaut, and Catharsis.
Catharsis was an anarchist collective "bent on the total liberation of ourselves and our world through creative self-expression and self-determination (...) and - above all - the transformation of life into a joyous, carefree game." They disbanded after their European tour in 2003. At the end of December that year some members showed up in a new band called Requiem.
Alexei Rodriguez lived in Germany for a while. Later he showed up in New York hardcore band Walls of Jericho, fronted by female singer Candace Kucsulian. He replaced original drummer Wes Keely, who left in 2001.
Alexei Rodriguez stayed until December 2004. He left "due to personal differences" and was replaced by Dustin Schoenhofer, former Premonitions of War drummer.
In July 2005 Alexei Rodriguez joined Canadian metallers 3 Inches Of Blood as a temporary replacement after their drummer Matt Wood had departed.
