Alexandre Cunha is the first musician in the Odery family. Trough his passion for Drums, inspired his father to build the instrument that carry the name of the family, and today is known as one of the best Drums in the world, the Odery.



Professional Drummer for 20 years, Alexandre always wanted to just play his best music, e for that, lived in Germany from 1994 to 1997, playing in the bests jazz clubs, developing even more his own way to play Brazilian music.



Back in Brazil, started the Brazilian Duet, duet with only two drummers, making Brazilian music success of critics and audience. Chuck Silveman (well known American drummer) said:

“As soon as I began watching this video, I knew that the Brazilian Drumming Duet was something special. Ramon and Alexandre communicate their love for drums and for Brazilian rhythm and music, cleary and powerfully. I found myself watching the video over and over. I hope to soon meet these two young musicians and form a long lasting friendship.”

And now, Alexandre introduces in the market his first record, ‘Batepapo’, a CD that counts with the best Brazilian musicians, known nationally and internationally.

Alexandre has an editorial section in Modern Drummer Brasil, the most prestigious drum magazine in Brazil. For his recognition, Alexandre is endorsing of great brands.
