Adrian Harpham was born in Los Angeles and raised in the Philadelphia area. Adrian began playing drums at 14. In High School he played in some local rock bands as well as in the High School Jazz band, Marching Band and Orchestra. Following High School, Harpam moved to Boston where he attended the Berklee College of Music and studied privately with Alan Dawson, Ed Uribe and Carl Mettolla.
Whilst in Boston,he also got to work with fusion guitarist, Bruce Bartlett, disco stars Tavares and rock group Letters to Cleo. In 1994 Adrian Harpham moved to New York City and since has become one of the city's most in demand drummers working with a wide range of artists in all different genres including: R&B/Hip Hop supergroup Lucy Pearl, Leo Nocentelli (guitarist of the Meters), Coolio, Tre Hardson (formerly of the Pharcyde), Nona Hendrix, Popa Chubby, Vonda Shepard, Nelson Rangell, Carl Hancock Rux, Patti Rothberg, Adam Cohen, Julian Coryell, Peter Stuart(formerly of Dog's Eye View), I mani coppolla, Screaming Headless Torsos and various others like Dave Fiuczinski solo projects and organist Ruben Wilson. He also plays with oldies acts: Gloria Gaynor, GQ, the Chiffons, the Shirelles, the Crystals, Tommy Roe, Peggy March, the Coasters and Billy J. Kramer. In addition to playing on numerous jingles and other session work, Adrian Harpam is also pursuing interests in production and songwriting.
