Xy replaced initial Samael drummer Pat Charvet, joining Samael around 1988.



Up to the 1990 album "Worship Him", Vorph was known as Vorphalack, and Xy as Xytraguptor. Later on, Vorphalack shortened his name to Vorph, while Xytraguptor became Xytras, and then Xy.



Xy was the drummer on all Samael albums until the 1996 release "Passage", at which point he moved over to keyboards and drum programming.



In December 2005 Xy fractured his wrist in a snowboard accident.
