Echoes of Collusion is the third track from my debut album K A L P A N A. The song was originally created as a duo collaboration with Rhythm Shaw back in 2021 during the Covid era. Over time, I revisited the piece, refined a few elements, and reached out to the legendary drummer Thomas Lang, who graciously came on board and brought an entirely new perspective to the track.
Mohini Dey later recorded her bass parts from home, and Lydian added his magical touch on the piano, completing the sonic landscape.
At its core, the song reflects how conspiracies, alliances, and hidden forces shape our daily lives how they affect us, and how we eventually rise above them. Within the albums narrative, this is the third chapter in the protagonists journey, where he begins to sense the echoes of deceit and intrigue surrounding him.
The music video is a heartfelt compilation of playthroughs and recording footage that each artist captured at different times throughout the making of the song.
I hope you enjoy this progacousticmetal fusion, and I truly hope Echoes of Collusion finds a place in your heart.
