Yes - we realize the notes go by WAY too fast to be able to "play along". But, even if you don't want to work up Matt's beats, it's an educational experience to see how much goes into his incredible performance!
AND IF YOU DO WANT TO SHED THE NOTES, Matt's got a FREE PDF of the entire transcription available for download on his website here: www.matt-garstka.myshopify.com
While you're there, be sure to check out ALL the great educational lessons and transcriptions that Matt has to offer!
BUT WAIT - THERE'S MORE!
Want to download a FREE music-minus-drums play-along track to the tune? You can download it here: www.vicfirth.com/vfjams-live
Quick caveat: The tune was recorded live, so the drums are not completely eliminated. Kevin Majorino did a great job of isolating them out as much as he could, given how many open mics were required to capture the live performance. Still, we think it's pretty awesome & hope you agree!
If you're amazed at Tim's transcription & wonder how he does it, be sure to check out his website and download his 4 part mini-course on "How To Transcribe" here: www.timbuellmusic.com/howtotranscribe/
