Recorded at MSR studios in New York City, this is the first single released by the Gregorio Uribe Big Band.
This song describes a mystical and beautiful place in the Caribbean. A place where you and your loved one can hide from the world and live a simpler life than the one we are used to in the big cities. A place between the mountains and the sea, close to the river and by the beach "where I told the trees, so they would grow, that I'm crazy in love with you".
Musically this song carefully combines afro-colombian rhythms with funk and pop in an organic a natural way.
With a remarkable compliance of trumpets, trombones and saxes soaring over an amazing percussion section and the leader of the group dancing to the beat while playing the accordion, this band brings new and modern arrangements to Latin music that, simply, cannot go unnoticed.
