Compared to Paramore, Halfnoise is decidedly more delicate with skittering drum tracks and lush, sensual textures.

Zac compares Halfnoise's sound to the likes of Sigur Ros and Radiohead:

"We're combining the ambiance of bands from Iceland with the sampling and electronic elements of Radiohead. I wanted Free The House to be the first music released to fans as it best represents my current style and creative direction in music."

Zac Farro left Paramore at the end of 2010 with his brother Josh, last recording with the group on the 2009 record 'Brand New Eyes'.

Halfnoise will tour the US East Coast starting June 19th in Philadelphia and wrapping up June 24th in Nashville.
