Yolanda Davis claims she was defending herself against domstic violence and assaults by Jackson.

Last week, on March 1, the police found Jackson stabbed to death. Officers were called to the house an hour earlier after an upstairs resident of the home heard a disturbance on the first floor between Jackson and a female acquaintance.

Because of the commotion, the witness went downstairs to check on the situation and discovered Jackson unresponsive with a stab wound to his chest.

Johnny Jackson joined The Jackson 5 in 1967, replacing original sticksman Milford Hite.

Later Jackson played in reggae outfit White Dove, but he had recently been replaced by Ralph Kinsey due to Jackson\'s excessive alcohol consumption.

Jackson\'s childhood friend and White Doves bandmate Anthony Acoff told the Associated Press:

\"It hurts me so bad. I called him that night. We were supposed to go to a jam session.\"
