Venom drummer Antony \"Antton\" Lant, who is the brother of frontman Conrad \"Cronos\" Lant, has departed from the pioneering British band. Antony explains his wants to focus on his own group:\"I have left for various reasons and would like to concentrate on my own band called Def-Con-One.\"
Venom\'s latest album, \'Hell\', was released in September 2008 via Universal Music Enterprises.
Antony\'s new band Def-Con-One recently released a 10-track cd called \'Blood Soaks The Floor\'. Def-Con-One are currently unsigned and seeking management.
