According to punkbands.com The Offspring drummer Adam \"Atom\" Willard (photo) has recently left the band to pursue with his career with Angels and Airwaves, a side project band formed by former Blink 182 frontman Tom DeLonge. \"I am absolutley not leaving the Offspring! I am very happy as someone said and plan to continue in that way! I have played with a lot of bands and I can honestly say these guys are the shit. Super cool, super fun... what else is there?\"
While Willard\'s departure is not official yet, rumours state The Offspring is planning on rehiring original drummer Ron Welty, who left in early 2003 before the recording and release of their last album \"Splinter\".
