"I first met Adam in Tempe, Arizona when we were on tour with Amorphis and Into Eternity. He had knocked on our bus door, introduced himself and told me he had contacted me prior to him joining Into Eternity (when we were looking for a new drummer after the King Diamond tour). Watching Adam play every night for five weeks was awesome. He is a technically proficient player and capable of playing just about anything. Over the last six years we have spoken countless times about working together... Well, now it's finally coming to fruition and I am really excited to get Adam into the studio!"
The band recently inked a two-album deal with Chicago's Goomba Music. The Single Bullet Theory's new cd, 'IV', contains 10 fresh tracks featuring new members John Ruszin III (guitar) and Jeff Kalber (bass). All drum tracks for the effort were recorded at Clay Creek Studio in Newark, Delaware with engineer Nick Rotundo. The remainder of the album is being recorded at Ruszin's studio in Wenonoh, New Jersey.
'IV' will also contain six bonus tracks from previous sessions, including a guest performance from King Diamond drummer Matt Thompson on a blistering cover of Death's Spirit Crusher.
