Russ Prager, two-time Guinness world record holder for marathon and duration drumming, is back in the Guinness world record book for the third time.
The 60-year-old drummer, who aimed to beat the record held by Kunto Hartono from Indonesia at 122 Hours and 25 Mins, is now at 136 hrs and still going!
Russ holds the drum marathon to rais money for the American Red Cross and their disaster relief.
All the time Russ is camping-out in a glass house at the Quaker Steak and Lube along 49th Street in Clearwater, Florida.
According to the Guiness rules, the drummer is allotted five minutes each hour to take a break. Those five minute can be used separately or banked and used all at once for a power nap. He also gets 30 seconds after each song if he needs to take a restroom break.
Russ Prager previously set the record at 120 hours during his 2009 Easter Seals event in Sacramento, CA. He held that record until August 2011 when Canadian, Steve Gaul, surpassed it by one hour.
