\'Uncommon Passage: The Life, Blood, and Rhythm of Randy Castillo\', is a documentary about Randy Castillo, his life, work, and his person. On March 26, 2002 drummer Randy Castillo died from cancer and left a huge gap in the modern music scene. Not only was he one of the best Rock drummers ever, he also was a great personality buying instruments for underprivileged kids. Producer Mike Bell traveled the United States looking for footage and interviewing many primary rock artists Randy had played with. In this interview Mike explains to Drummerszone.com about this unique project and what his documentary will show us.Randy Castillo can be heard on several recordings of Lita Ford, Mötley Crüe, Ozzy Osbourne, Black Sabbath and L.A.
