Modern inclusions
Crystal Beat's toms nowadays include the Optimount suspension system to remove undue shell pressure and increase sustain.

The 1.6mm triple-flanged hoops offer just the right amount of attack without sacrificing tonal body.

The Crystal Beat kits now also come with air suspension feet under the floor tom, telescoping spurs with rubber or spike tip, and recessed bass drum claws with rubber lining.

Finishes
The three Crystal Clear finishes (730 Ultra Clear, 731 Ruby Red and 732 Tangerine Glass) make sure the Crystal Beat drums will attract more than a fair amount of attention on stage.

The Pearl Crystal Beat Series is available in four configurations:

• CRB524P/C - 22x16 bass drum, 10x7 and 12x8 toms plus 16x15 floor tom
  
• CRB524FP/C - 22x16 bass drum, 12x8 tom plus 14x13 and 16x15 floor toms
  
• CRB525FP/C - 22x16 bass drum, 10x7 and 12x8 toms, plus 12x8 and 16x15 floor tom
  
• CRB503P/C - 20x15 bass drum, 12x8 tom and 14x13 floor tom

Pricing
The CRB 503P/C kit has the most afforable listing price of $1,499, the CRB 525FP/C kit is highest priced at $2,165. Priced in between are CRB 524P/C for $1,799, and CRB 524FP/C for $1,999. Expect three to five months for delivery.
