Original drummer Paddy Boom (real name: Patrick Seacor) has left flamboyant pop act the Scissor Sisters. The drummer, who who was with the band for seven years, parted ways last week. He will be temporarily replaced by Randy \'Real\' Schrager, who originally became involved with the Scissor Sisters during their \'Kiss You Off\' tour of summer 2007.\"We would like our fans and friends to know that we have amicably parted ways with the original Scissor drummer Paddy Boom. He will no longer be on stage with us but he will always be our sister.\"
The new line-up is working hard on a new record. This album, expected to be released early 2009, will reportedly shift emphasis from pop to feature a reggae influence.
