The first book is scheduled to be published sometime early next year, and will include a large selection of drum music transcribed from Scott\'s early years with Queensrÿche through the later years. It will also include multiple interviews, photos, and lots of extras.

In other news: Queensrÿche are still working on the sequel to their platinum 1988 concept album, \"Operation: Mindcrime\", tentatively dubbed \"Operation: Mindcrime II\". Rhino Entertainment will release it early 2006.

Last but not least of the drummer\'s update: Slave To The System, Scott Rockenfield\'s other band, have inked a three-album worldwide deal with Spitfire/Eagle Rock Records. With two of the full-length albums already recorded and mixed, there are plans to re-package the independently released debut album with some unreleased new material added to the track listing.
