Azarath, the Polish extreme metal band featuring Behemoth drummer Inferno (real name: Zbigniew Robert Promiński), will release its as-yet-untitled fifth album on June 6 via Witching Hour Productions."The character and atmosphere of music was changed considerably. The music is dark, ominous and spatial — in many parts refers to black metal and classics of the genre. Aggression and sonic massacre is not lacking at all – as this is our main frontline."
A new Azarath ep, 'Holy Possession', will arrive on April 10 as a cd and seven-inch ep. It will feature the title track and a cover of Rebel Souls by Damnation.
The cd edition will be limited to 666 copies ("die hard") and the seven-inch ep will be limited to 333 copies — on white vinyl with a metal envelope containing also a poster and a badge.
The graphic design for the for full album and lp was handled by Boris Kaluzhny (a.k.a. Hatefrost), a Ukrainian artist residing in New York.
