Of course, Premier Percussion was present too at Winter NAMM 2007. The UK based percussion manufacturer presented all-new 6000, 4000 and 2000 Series hardware ranges, updated Cabria Series and Olympic drum kits, a new military wood hooped marching snare drum, and new instruments in their rhythm percussion range.

Brand new are Premier\'s 6000, 4000 and 2000 Series hardware. Each range shares a number of key features such as a new Ferrule design with integrated memory lock and a new flush base leg system allowing set up options along with a classic retro look.
6000 Series hardware Premier\'s most advance range is the 6000 Series hardware. It offers construction and double braced legs. The 6000 Series features including the new flush based leg system, new Diamond Chrome Ferrule with integrated memory lock and the new infinite position cymbal tilter on all cymbal and boom stands. According to premier, the 6000 Series range has also been expanded with a selection of so called specialist items such as a 2-legged hi-hat stand for double pedal use, a legless hi-hat stand for double bass drum applications, and a boom stand with weighted boom arm. Also available is a base section extension for the double tom stand allowing players to position their drums higher.
4000 Series hardware Premier\'s 4000 Series hardware offers double braced legs as well. It also features a new Ferrule with integrated memory lock in Satin Chrome finish. Three new bass drum pedals have been introduced within the 4000 Series range: The 4000 Series Single pedal features a dual chain drive, radial rod, toe stop and adjustable cam/footplate angle. The new 4000 Series deluxe pedal features add a beater balance weight to that. The same goes for the double pedal in the 4000 Series.
2000 Series hardware Ease of use and lighter weights are the most striking features of Premier\'s 2000 Series hardware, making it well portable hardware. Obviously, a roadie still is the most comfortable solution to all transport issues. The 2000 Series hardware feature single braced legs and Premier\'s Satin Chrome Ferrule design with integrated memory lock. All stands are finished in Premier\'s Diamond Chrome plating. Also new is the 2000 Series bass drum pedal featuring a single chain drive, radial rod, toe stop and adjustable cam/footplate angle.
Updated Cabria Series drums The folks at Premier have updated their Cabria Series drums. Originally launched in 1998 as Premier\'s \"entry-level\" drumset, the entire Cabria Series have been completely re-designed and updated. New features include 100% Maple shells, die-cast rings, ISO mounts, brand new finishes and improved hardware. The all-new Cabria Series now feature three ranges:
Cabria Extreme Power Kit (XPK) The range of Cabria XPK represents the ultimate Cabria Series drums featuring a 100% Maple shell construction together with high quality die-cast rings as standard. Cabria XPK drums also feature an ISO mounting system and are fitted with Remo drumheads. They are available in a selection of lacquer finishes. All Cabria XPK sets now feature double braced hardware including snare drum stand, hi-hat stand, 2 x boom stands and bass drum pedal.
Cabria Advanced Power Kit (APK) The Cabria APK range features a Maple inner liner on an Ash wood shell construction. The Cabria APK range also features the ISO mounting system and Remo drumheads as standard. Finish options include a selection of premium wraps, satins and lacquers. Cabria APK drum sets include the abovementioned double braced hardware.
Cabria Power Kit (PK) The Cabria PK kits include everything needed for the drummer just starting out. Featuring a great selection of attractive wrap finishes and a choice of the most popular set-ups. All Cabria PK drum sets include the same double braced hardware as the Advanced and Extreme Power Kit models
Updated Olympic drum kits Also updated is the range of Olympic drum kits. For over forty years, Olympic has been a good option for entry-level drummers. More and more drummers are demanding higher quality entry-level drums, so Premier decided to improve the design of the Olympic series. The all new Olympic kits are now constructed from 6mm/6ply basswood shells and include new tom holders, bass drum spurs, newly designed sleek style tension casings and matching wood snare drum. However, the also see the return of Premier\'s \'old\' logo.
The Olympic range comes in two models. The \"Rock 22\" set features 12\" x 9\" tom, 13\" x 10\" tom, 16\" x 16\" floor tom and 22\" x 16\" bass drum with 14\" x 5.5\" snare drum. The Olympic \"Jazz 20\" set features 10\" x 8\" tom, 12\" x 9\" tom, 14\" x 14\" floor tom and 20\" x 16\" bass drum with 14\" x 5.5\" snare drum. Both packs include a complete set of double braced hardware with snare, hi-hat and cymbal stand, tom holders and bass drum pedal, together with cymbals, throne and a pair of sticks. Both set ups are available in a choice of two wrap finishes: wine red and black.
Military Wood Hooped Marching Snare Drum Straight from Leicester, England comes Premier\'s new Military Wood Hooped Marching Snare Drum. Many military bands demand for traditional wood hooped snare drums, so Premier has developed a new model, the 98-S. This 14\" x 12\" sized model can be used by military and marching bands when a traditional sound or look is required.
The new 98-S wood hooped snare drum features a 4mm Birch shell, top and bottom snares, Diamond Chrome fittings, Natural Wood Hoops and is available in a choice of four solid lacquer finishes which include white lacquer (WL), black lacquer (EBC), navy blue lacquer (QL) and military red lacquer (RDL).
New rhythm percussion instruments In 2005 Premier launched their range of Rhythm Percussion instruments. At the Winter NAMM 2007 Premier introduced a number of additional percussion instruments, broadening the selection of ethnic and hand percussion available.
New are premier\'s African Djembe and Bougarabou. Both of these instruments are handcrafted from a single piece of wood and feature goat skin heads, natural lacquer finish and traditional rope tension tuning systems. The African Djembes are available in 6.5\", 10\" or 12\" diameters. The Bougarabous are available in 10\" or 12\" diameters.
Hand percussion Premier has also introduced various hand percussion instruments that originate from African and Latin American Carnival music. These include a 10\" Ashiko and an 11\" Tambora which are constructed from the same Siam oak wood used in the production of its Rhythm Percussion Congas. Both of these instruments feature buffalo skin heads, black powder coat hardware and a natural lacquer finish. The Tambora is also supplied with a black nylon strap, tuning wrench and a beater.
Other new percussion instruments added to Premier\'s Rhythm Percussion range include two types of Cajon Boxes, various sized Rain Sticks, Wood Blocks, Claves, Mini Cymbals, Triangles, Guiro Shakers, Fruit Basket Shakers and Gongs.
