Carlsbro, the iconic British supplier of musical instrument amplification and speaker systems, launched its first ever dedicated electronic drum and percussion amp/monitor series at the 2012 NAMM show in Anaheim, California last month.
Carlsbro's first new model, the EDA50, is a two-way 50-Watt amp with a single ten-inch LF driver and two-inch HF driver.
The second new model, Carlsbro's EDA200S amp/monitor, is a true three-way cabinet that delivers 200 Watts of power, configured with dual 61/2-inch mid drivers, two-inch HF tweeters and a reflex loaded 12-inch LF driver.
Both amps feature mono/left channel and right channel e-drum input jack sockets (summed to mono in the EDA50) and an aux input jack socket for playback or to monitor foldback signal, with separate volume controls for the drum signal and aux signal on the control panel.
A three band EQ for low, mid and high frequencies, along with line in and headphone out mini-jack sockets are also included on both models.
