Next, the guitarist and bandleader will embark on the Tales Of Rock`n Roll World Tour 2006, starting on May 4 in Istanbul, with his band MSG.

Besides Schenker himself, the current MSG line-up features drummer Pete Holmes (photo), bassist Rev Jones, guitarist/keyboarder Wayne Findley and Finnish vocalist Jari Tiura.

The extensive tour will take the Michael Schenker Group to Germany, England, The Netherlands, France, Spain, Italy, Croatia, Austria, Turkey, Belgium, Bulgaria and Switzerland among others. Hanover, Germany based guitarist Michael Schenker still belongs among the most important and greatly respected guitarists in the international rock scene. His hugely fluidly playing, his razor-sharp rock-licks, powerful riffs and classic playing made him to an idol of a complete generation.

Whether as member from the Scorpions and the British rock band UFO, or as part of the great, but early died Contraband, as solo artist or as now with his own MSG: the guitarist stood at the cradle of countless classic songs in rock history.

In the context of this year\'s Frankfurt Music trade fair, that will take place April 2 – 2006 in Frankfurt’s ‘Nachtleben’, there will be a Signing-Session including CD-presentation. At this occasion, Michael and Rudolf Schenker will also present their new Dean-Guitar Schenker Brothers.

The next day German broadcast station WDR will record the MSG-Show in Colognes ‘Underground’ for the legendary program Rockpalast.

An other highlight will be the shows for the Graspop Metal Meeting and of cause the show at the cult festival Wacken Open Air at August 03 -2006, before and with the Scorpions. Without any doubt: 2006 will be a MSG-year!
