The offense charged in the indictment alleges that the 31-year-old St. Louis-area musician took photos of himself engaged in sexual activity with a minor, as well as close-up photographs of the minor's genitalia. It's unclear how federal investigators were tipped off to the material.

Martin is currently held in jail without bond pending a trial. If convicted, he faces between fifteen and thirty years in prison, a $250,000 fine plus a long term of supervised release.

His bandmates have already denounced him, posted the following message about the arrest on their Facebook page:

"As most of you may already know, our drummer Vlad has been arrested on child pornography charges; we had no involvement or knowledge about these act, and we in no way condone in such actions, what happened to him is unfortunate, but he brought it on himself."
