Drummer and principal song-writer Nick Hodgson explains that the band were bored with the usual process of recording an album every two years, and wanted to do something different:

\"We mentioned mini-albums and double EPs, but we’ve got no fixed plans yet. We’ve got the songs though, which is good. We want to break the routine of having to make an album every two years. It’s totally boring. In the charts there are tons of indie bands playing chords and singing songs about the weekend. We’re going to be doing the opposite and being the best. With the second album we tried to consolidate and be more song-based. This year we’re going to relax more and just enjoy doing music. We’ve got nothing to lose.”

The band have already started playing new songs as part of their live set, with You Want History and Never Miss A Beat aired on their recent winter tour.
