Black Light Burns has an all-star line-up, also featuring former Limp Bizkit guitarist Wes Borland alongside Danny Lohner (Nine Inch Nails) and Josh Eustis (Telefon Tel Aviv).
Black Light Burn are nearing the completion of their as-yet-untitled debut album. The band are looking at an early 2006 release through Geffen Records, followed by a world tour.
Freese carries a heavyweight tradition with him, holding prior membership of Vandals, Infectious Grooves, Pearl Jam, Guns n\' Roses and A Perfect Circle repute.
Other session activity has seen Josh Freese performing drums on Mötley Crüe\'s cover of the Rolling Stones Street Fighting Man on their \"Red, White & Crue\" album.
The super drummer has also featured on ex-Bush frontman Gavin Rossdale\'s Institute debut \'Distort Yourself\'.
In October Josh Freese temporarily joined Nine Inch Nails as a touring drummer after regular drummer Jerome Dillon withdrew with health concerns.
