The band recently inked a deal with the record label, following the recording of their debut album in October. Mascis and the other Witch members worked in the studio with John Agnello (Dinosaur Jr., Screaming Trees, Lamb Of God) at the helm.

The band\'s musical direction is being described as:

In Witch, Joseph Mascis returns to his first love — drums, playing with an unbridled passion that recalls his work with Deep Wound, his early \'80s hardcore band.

Witch has previously released a 7\" single through Damaged Goods Records.
