The six-piece band performed at the intimate wedding reception after receiving a request from the Royal couple to play for them and an audience of around 300 close friends and family in Buckingham Palace.

The newly titled Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have already seen the band play at last year’s Radio 1’s Big Weekend in Bangor, North Wales, and just a few weeks before the wedding, invited them to play live at their big day - which was only publicly announced 24 hours before.

The band played a number of their own hits before an intimate rendition of Elton John’s Your Song where they serenaded the couple.
