Being the son of Billy Amendola, Matty has been drumming professionally since the age of 13. He has also mastered multiple instruments. In addition to playing bass with Damien Fahey's band The Classic Futures, Amendola has written, recorded and produced two solo albums. He is currently working with burgeoning rocker Eddy Davis on producing his debut album. Matty Amendola, who previously endorsed Pearl Drums, says:

"The Brooklyn series, (as fitting as the name of the series seems for me) are the best drums I've ever sat behind. They're huge and warm, but focused and punchy.
