Nashville drummer, Miles McPherson, best known for his work with Kelly Clarkson and Paramore), was preparing to tour Europe with Paramore next month when he was involved in an accident last Friday and is now suffering serious injuries.
Miles, his wife Jessie and two friends were riding in a golf cart that suddenly flipped over. Jessie was flown from the cart. She and the other two escaped with minor injuries, but Miles has severe injuries.
Reportedly, the drummer was in the driver's seat and the cart fell on its left side. He was dragged on his face for about 20 feet and ended up unconscious in a pool of blood.
Miles was taken to the ICU with seven broken bones in his face, a broken finger, battery acid burns on his arm and shoulder, and other cuts and bruises on his body.
After a few days at the Vanderbilt burn center, drummer, husband and father of two is now recovering in his south Nashville home.
Because Mile can't work, a family friend has set up and online donation account and started the Help Miles page on Facebook where you can show your support.
