Matt Helders, sitting on the drum throne with Arctic Monkeys, is \"a great drummer\" according to David Bowie. The British superstar was spotted checking out the Arctic Monkeys last week at the Bowery in New York.\"Popped in to see The Arctic Monkeys at the Bowery Ballroom Wednesday night. They had some good songs, a great drummer and generally rocked the house. A nice solid Brit band. Personalities sort of reminded me of a young Action (if anyone remembers them)”.
The Arctic Monkeys just recently came off the top of the UK chart with their hit single ‘I Bet You Look Good On The Dancefloor’ and have now released the song in the States as well.
The next Arctic Monkeys single will be \'When The Sun Goes Down’. It should be released in January 2006.
