Written and directed by Leigh Whannell in his directorial debut, 'Insidious: Chapter 3' is scheduled to be released on June 5, 2015 by Focus Features.

Speaking to Metal Thunder Radio earlier this week, Dave stated to be really excited about his collaboration:

"I'm gonna be performing with two cello players, a viola and a violin player under [Joseph's] direction. And he's an amazing composer; I've been listening to his stuff for awhile now. (...) I set up all the drums… today I ordered the [Ludwig] drums that I'm gonna use."

In related news: Dave has teamed up with art company SceneFour for the rhythm-on-canvas series that previously featured Dave Weckl, Steve Smith, Bill Ward and Matt Sorum among other artists. SceneFour tries to capture percussion on canvas in order to translate rhythm into visual art.

On November 21, Dave Lombardo will be unveiling an art collection titled 'I'm Not There', containing 13 works built from the new medium of rhythm-on-canvas.
