On Saturday September 25th, 2010 Clyde \"The Funky Drummer\" Stubblefield will be appearing at IMSTA Festa, a celebration of music software hosted by the International Music Software Trade Association (IMSTA).
Clyde Stubblefield will be performing for attendees and will be featured on the Shocklee Innertainment Panel Series.
About Clyde \"The Funky Drummer\" Stubblefield Clyde Stubblefield is best known for his work with James Brown\'s band of the 60\'s and 70\'s. His drum groove on James Brown\'s Funky Drummer is believed to be the world\'s most sampled record. Clyde joined James Brown\'s band in the mid 60\'s and played on such classics as Cold Sweat and I Got The Feeling. These songs set the standard for rhythmic groove, lyrical content and artistic delivery for generations to come.
In July 2009 the funk drumming legend was diagnosed with kidney failure. Stubblefield (67), who has overcome bladder cancer and is diabetic, now requires lifetime kidney dialysis treatment. He remains optimistic as deals with his new situation, determined to work steadily: \"I just want to be happy\".
