Monday evening May 9th 2005 Cesar Zuiderwijk was the third artist in row during the Pearl month of clinics at Drumworld in Ittervoort, The Netherlands. As the music hall was filling itself with visitors, the father of Dutch Drumming was -somewhat detained- still setting up his drumset.
\"If I can play something, than you surely can!\"
Although he talked about basic drum techniques, they are still essential and of great importance for every drummer, even professionals. Even the elementary rudiments became alive as never before. By demonstrating and teaching the crowd his virtuous Stick Crossing technique he showed once more there are not many drummers of his caliber.
For the more than 600 visitors of his clinic the evening was a nice and very valuable lessen in drumming. The founder of Music Station (Cesar\'s drum school) has the gift to give everybody a pleasant evening and lets them go home with a pocket full of lessons.
Watch the streams of Cesar\'s Stick Crossing demonstration that are attached to the article. On his artist page you will find more streams of Cesar and of course, loads of images!
