The programme, 'Serious Boredom', is a new satellite radio show on Sirius XMU that premiered yesterday (Decemmber 20) at 8:00 pm EST and featured music from Pavement, Guided By Voices and Yo La Tengo, among others.

New episodes will premiere on the first Thursday of each month throughout 2013. Patrick states:

"I've wanted to do a dj gig like this for a while now so I'm excited about the show and the opportunity to host Sirius XMU's 'Serious Boredom."

Patrick joins fellow drummer Dave Grohl as part of Sirus XM's roster. It was recently announced that Dave will also host a show on the station titled 'Dave Grohl Presents Sound City', which will feature music recorded at the iconic California studio, about which he has just made a documentary film.
