"Atom", who has drummed for Rocket From The Crypt, Danko Jones, plus Angels and Airwaves among others, will be filling as session drummer in for Jay Weinberg, who announced his departure from Against Me! earlier this month.

Against Me!'s singer and guitarist Laura Jane Grace - who was named Thomas Gabel before she publicly came out as transgender, beginning a transition to living as a woman in 2012 - tweeted:

"Very stoked to say that @AtomWillard is going to be filling in on the drums for us for @bigdayout."

The band are in the midst of wrapping up their new album 'Transgender Dysphoria Blues', which should be out in 2013 via Total Treble Music.
