First names London Drum Show 2015 First, the first artists for the two-day 2015 edition are already announced. Rising star Anika Nilles will perform on Saturday November 21, and veteran Peter Erskine will take the stage on Sunday November 22.
Eric Harland Eric Harland is one of those artists performing regularly at the North Sea Jazz festival. Just last year he played there with Kevin Eubanks and legendary double bass player Dave Holland, while in 2013 he was there with Zakir Hussain and Charles LLoyd. A true musician always on top of the game, whether it is in Jazz with McCoy Tyner or Joshua Redman, or recording for film scores or records. His resume goes on and on with names like John Mayer, Spike Lee, Mariah Carey and Primus' bassist Les Claypool. Just months before London Drum Show he released the second album 'Vipassana' with his band Voyager.
The magic of his playing is for a great deal the musical story he tells, a drummer’s tale that never runs out of surprises. Watching these videos you will experience how Eric 'The Creator' Harland gives music and drums completely new dimensions. Without any doubt one of the best drummers of his generation.
