Yamaha revamped their Stage Custom birch shells into a smaller Stage Custom Hip kit. A stunning result that has a lot any small club drummer likes. The main features: the floor tom has snares, the 20" x 8" bass drum kicks as a 24" and it fits right in the Stage Custom birch shell pack family. The video features Antonio Sanchez on the Yamaha NAMM 2020 stage with vocal queen Thana Alexa.
Yamaha Stage Custom Hip The 2020 Yamaha Stage Custom Hip kit is actually as easy to feature as it is to set it up. Yamaha claims it has a 'big sound in a compact configuration,' and when you watch Antonio Sanchez play the Stage Custom Hip, you know the company is right at that. While small, the 20" x 8" bass drum has a deep and low punch to it. MusicRadar chose the new Stage Custom Hip as 'Best Drum Kit' at the winter NAMM Show.
HW3 Advanced Lightweight Hardware Also, in the video is Yamaha's new lightweight hardware. When traveling with this kit, some lightweight gear comes in handy. The new hardware package includes two cymbal stands, a snare stand and a Hi-hat stand. It weighs 17.2 lbs. (7.8 kilo) and includes a hardware bag.
