Stagg has a huge range in percussion instruments and there are two that the company soon releases on the market: the Standard Cajon with built in Bongo side patches, and a new beast in the cajon range: the Cannon.
Standard cajon with Bongo sides This is the standard cajon as we now it from Stagg, but the colors of the front board and the body are turned around. The big feature here are the bongo patches on the sides of the cajon. These are not attachments with velcro or anything; they are built into the body of the cajon. Which makes the instrument a very versatile one to play.
Cannon cajon with Ebony finish This is the beast that Stagg introduced at NAMM this year. The reinforced sub woofer gives a strong and steady low bass. The Ebony finish looks just great, and just like the Bongo cajon and many of the Stagg cajons the front plate has rounded edges that are easy on the hands.
Here are the two cajons, presented and demoed by Eric from Stagg - plus a demo from 'random NAMM-guy' playing the Cannon cajon at the NAMM Show!
