"Paladin Maple is the perfect mix of maple and poplar allowing for the brighter tone of maple and the warmth of poplar. When low end and dark tone is called for, Paladin Walnut fits the bill."
Paladin Maple is available in three configurations and available in Natural Maple, Piano Black, Satin Zombie Green, or as shown in Inca Gold Sparkle lacquer.
The Paladin Walnut features four plies of walnut with two plies of poplar and 45 edge with a slight round over, allowing for the depth of the walnut to mellow with the addition of poplar.
Paladin Walnut will be available in the traditional jazz sized 4-piece called the Speakeasy setup, or in a 5-piece Player configuration with an optional 14 inch floor tom and with finishes in Natural Walnut or as shown in Ember Red.
All Paladin kits feature Faceoff lugs and mounting systems for maximum resonance and clarity. So do the Reflex sets by the way.
Reflex series
Ddrum's Reflex RSL drum sets, which stands for Ratio Size Lacquer, feature alder shells with a shorter sustain. The ratio sizes and a satin finish add to the depth of tone. Reflex RSL's will be available in Satin Black, Satin Wine Red, and Satin Blue. The drum sets come as 18x22 inch bass drum, 8x10 inch and 9x12 inch tomtoms, 16x16 inch floor tom and a matching 5.5x14 inch snare drum.
Ddrum's new Reflex Uptown kit is constructed from hand picked highly figured red alder. The Uptown shells allow for a lower tuning range, but in this six piece setup allow the player to cover all tunings and accents of any style of music.
Available later this year in Natural Alder the Reflex features 18x22 inch kick drum, 8x10 inch, 9x12 inch, 14x14 inch, 14x16inch toms, and matching 6.5x14 inch snare drum.

The Powerhouse bass drum is the largest to feature Ddrum's exclusive Bass Drum Resolifts that allow the bass drum as well as the toms to resonate in vibrational congress. Only available in Satin Black.
Like the Reflex Powerhouse, Ddrum's new Reflex Bombardier set earns its name. The massive 15x26 inch bass drum is flanked by 10x14 inch, 16x16 inch, and 16x18 inch floor toms plus a 6.5x14 inch matching snare drum. The Bombardier is available in Galaxy Sparkle wrap and features 2.3mm steel hoops and Faceoff lugs in Satin Chrome.
Journeyman
Ddrum's next step in custom options at a moderate price is the Journeyman. Its 20x22 inch bass drum is standard in all three configurations. The low end of the bass is complimented with the crack of the 7x13 inch snare drum. According to the company, the 100% basswood shells offer enhanced projection and bright tone similar to maple.
All sets feature powder coated black hardware, die cast hybrid lugs and claws and come with hardware. Special limited edition sparkle finishes available in the Spring of 2012 in Deep Space Black and Solar Flare Red.
The Player and Rambler 5-piece setups are available in Midnight Black, Wine Red, and White. The double bass Double Down version is available in Midnight Black.
Vintone US snares
Ddrum also showed a collection of handcrafted snare drums with a wide variety of choices called Vintone US. Sizes and woods available include 5.5x14 inch snare made of Curly Maple, Black Walnut and Catalpa, plus 6.5x14 inch Cherry and Pecan snares. All Vintone US drums are hand finished, bedded, and edged in Ddrum's custom shop located in Tampa, Florida. All snare drums are steam bent solid shells, with matching reinforcement hoops and your choice of die cast or 2.3 mm steel hoops. All drums feature Ddrum's Faceoff lug with matching wood inserts.
Tattooed Lady
Also available in 2012 is Ddrum's Tattooed Lady: a 6.5x14 inch black chrome steel shell snare drum with US Evans batter head and black nickel 2.3mm steel hoops. The custom scrollwork pays homage to the carnival shows of the 1930's and 40's and the lady everyone came to see. Several of Ddrum's top artists have already tested this drum on the road.
