Formula 602 In the sixties and seventies, the Formula 602 cymbals were very popular and used by a lot of drummers on stage and during a lot of historical recording sessions. In 2011, Paiste relaunches five of the most popular cymbals, using the master cymbals of the 1960's for a new production era.
Blue Bird Sweet Ride The 20" Sweet Ride was developed in collaboration with French Jazz icon André "Dédé" Ceccarelli. Dédé's inspiration for this cymbal is recognized by its "Blue Bird" logo. This special mark might also be referring to the legendary 'Blue Bird Savoy Sessions' of Charlie Parker and Miles Davis.
Hosted by Artist Relations Manager and Paiste Product Specialist Christian Wenzel, all of the videos with this article give you all the information and demonstrations you need to get familiarized with the new Paiste cymbals.
