The news comes as the band gears up for the release of 'Love Part II' on November 11th, 2011. The album, which follows 2010's 'LOVE', looks like a release with a regular digital album and physical cd as well as the usual assortment of deluxe editions.
About Ilan Rubin
A child prodigy, Ilan Rubin was only nine when he became the drummer in Freak of Nature, a San Diego punk-pop band that also featured his older brothers Aaron and Danny on guitar and bass, respectively.
Ilan Rubin was just eleven when Freak of Nature performed on the Emerging Artists Stage at the 1999 Woodstock festival in New York. That same year Modern Drummer magazine declared him 'Best Undiscovered Drummer Under the Age of 18'.
Ilan later toured overseas drumming for Welsh rock act Lostprophets, and studied with Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker.
