Godsmack drummer Shannon Larkin has teamed up again with vocalist Whitfield Crane, guitarists Klaus Eichstadt, Dave Fortman and bassist Cordell Crockett for a reunion of Ugly Kid Joe, the band best known for their 1992 hit Everything About You."We made six new songs for an ep to put out at some point. We are really stoked at how it came out — pure Ugly Kid Joe, dude! We have no label, agent, or management and did the record by ourselves without a real plan other than getting together in a room again after all these years and jamming out! We'll keep people posted as to when we will release something and perhaps even play some shows if there is interest in us."
Shannon Larkin previously drummed with the band from 1994–1997, replacing Bob Fernandez.
In related news: Shannon Larkin is currently touring with Godsmack, promoting their latest album 'The Oracle'. After that tour the drummer will focus on Another Animal, his side project with Godsmack bandmate Robbie Merril and Ugly Kid Joe's Whitfield Crane.
