To put it in other words: by simply singing into your phone, Voice Band transforms your voice into ten different instruments in real time. Voice Band doesn\'t simply change your voice to sound like an instrument, it actually plays a real sampled instrument which follows your singing.

This means you can sing your drum or percussion parts and the app \"translates\" your voice to a sound comparable to the chosen instrument, using the pitch and dynamics of your voice.

For example, to control the kick/snare instrument, a round \'boom\' vocal sound produces the bass drum kick, while a more explosive, snappy sound produces the snare drum. Voice Band works pretty simple:

1. choose from one of the available instruments
   
2. choose from various effects, like delay or reverb
   
3. start “singing” scat-style

Voice Band provides ten different instruments, including several drum/cymbal sounds, with the ability to purchase more instruments from within the app.

Or you can sing along with tracks from your music library, creating your own unique (re)mixes.

When you record a track, it gets automatically merged into the track you’re playing along with. This means you cannot save each track as a separate recording and then later mix them together.

An auto-tune feature helps you keeping pitch and a metronome helps you to stay in time.
