The new location features additional office space for management, sales, marketing and artist relations, a fully-stocked showroom and a large, state-of-the-art warehouse; all of which will allow for greater efficiency as well as the continued growth of the expanding percussion company. Tycoon\'s General Manager, Quincy Yu, explains:

\"Despite a soft economy we\'ve been able to increase our market share by offering our customers a wide selection of high quality instruments at affordable price points. Between the growth of our business and the growth of our catalog we had simply outgrown our building. Although this may not be the best time for some companies to expand, it\'s absolutely the right time for us.\"

According the Stephen Yu, founder and president of Tycoon Percussion, the move to the new location is the next step in Tycoon\'s efforts to manage its growth in the United States and around the world.

Tycoon was established in 1985 primarily as an OEM manufacturer for other well-known percussion brands but, by the early 1990\'s, the demand for Tycoon Percussion products began to accelerate throughout Europe, Asia and North and South America. In 2006, Tycoon Percussion launched its U.S. distribution center.
