Persistense (not a spelling error but a contraction of \'to persist\' and \'intense\') have found a spot on Deity Down Records\' artist roster.

The band, hailing from Den Bosch, Netherlands, will see their debut full-length album released by DDR in the summer of 2009.
Drummer Bram Trommelen and the other members of Persistense - Stefan van Vugt (vocals), Ralf van der Horst (guitars), Jacques Maas (guitars), and Mark de Haas (bass) - offer a blend of metal, influenced by the likes of Pantera, Lamb Of God and Machine Head that can best be described as intense and groovy without boundaries.
The guys have put the songs Sick World and Progress from a recently self-released promo online at their MySpace profile.
Earlier this month Deity Down added Italian outfit Murder Therapy to its artist roster, which includes Devious, Disturbing Foresights, and Dark Intentions among others.
