The album will be available in Europe ex January 11, 2008 via Locomotive Records. US fans will have their chance to buy the new Benedictum record as from March 4, 2008.
According to a press release, fans of the band\'s 2006 debut record \'Uncreation\', featuring Blackie Sanchez on drums, will find another great piece of music with \'Seasons Of Tragedy\'. Conjuring the power, mystique and grandeur of early Rainbow and classic Savatage, this time Benedictum create a sound that\'s uniquely their own. The group once more managed to write metalsongs which are able to contrast to the majority of proposals on the market. Awesome riffing, fierce rythms, strong and catchy melodies distinguish Benedictum\'s songwriting, topped off by what is truly one of the most extraordinary voices in all of rock, courtesy of Veronica Freeman, whose pipes have to be heard to be believed.
\'Seasons Of Tragedy\' also features guest appearances on guitar by George Lynch (ex-Dokken), Manni Schmidt (ex-Rage, Grave Digger), Craig Goldy (Dio) and on bass Jeff Pilson (ex-Dokken, Foreigner). Besides ten own compositions the record features a cover version of Accept classic Balls To the Wall. The digipack version also contains the Rainbow cover Catch The Rainbow.
