Italian guitarist Peppino D\'Agostino was voted \"Best Acoustic Guitarist\" by the readers of Guitar Player Magazine in the 2007 Guitar Player Reader\'s Choice Awards. Originally being a classical guitarist, Peppino has played, toured and recorded with Drummerszone.com endorser Juan van Emmerloot for several years.

While Peppino is one of the best acoustic guitar players, he also performs in electric band formations with different artists. Just last year he toured Italy once more with American guitarist and good friend Stef Burns (Y&T, Huey Lewis and the News, Vasco Rossi) and Drummerszone.com endorser Juan van Emmerloot.
One of the Italian native and longtime California resident\'s latest projects is \'Bayshore Road,\' a collaboration with Stef Burns, released on Steve Vai\'s Favored Nations label. In 2006 the promotional tour for the album in Italy was a sell out line-up of performances. With Juan van Emmerloot and bass player Walther Latupeirissa as rhythm section, the four artists played for sold out venues accross Italy. Stef Burns, who is also in the band of Italian\'s most famous singer Vasco Rossi, is as popular in Italy as Peppino is in the US, with his own Italian based fanclub.
Juan has been quite active with both artists. Having met Peppino in Los Angeles, CA in 2000 the two started playing gigs in the Bay Area. After meeting Stef Burns the logical follow up was touring Italy a couple of times with the four man band. Also, being active as a producer, Juan started recording Stef\'s new album in Milan, Italy in the summer of 2006. Of course, we\'ll keep you updated about all their activities in the future!
