Between November 2 and 5, 2005 PASIC (Percussive Arts Society International Convention) is celebrating 30 years as the drum and percussion world\'s premier event.

TThe anniversary will be marked by the PASIC Indoor Marching Percussion Festival and the convention\'s International Drum & Percussion Expo with over 130 exhibitors showcasing the latest in percussion instruments, gear, publications and services.
Education, inspiration and celebration The PASIC organisation expects more than 6,000 drummers and percussionists from around the world for four days of education, inspiration and celebration. The line-up will include more than 150 events on twelve stages featuring many of the world\'s best musicians on drumset, orchestral percussion, keyboard, world percussion, marching and more.
Drumset Master Classes Sergio Bellotti, Clayton Cameron, Susie Ibarra, Larry Lelli, Ray Luzier and Ed Soph will deliver drumset master classes.
Drumset Clinics John Blackwell, Jimmy DeGrasso, Jason Bittner, Virgil Donati, Steve Gadd, Terreon Gully, Jamey Haddad, Tommy Igoe, Akira Jimbo and Shuichi Hidano, Billy Kilson, Glenn Kotche, Steve Smith and Ganesh Kumar, Gustavo Meli, Stanton Moore, Bernard Purdie and Terry Silverlight will deliver drumset clinics.
FUNdamental Sessions Jeff Moore and Kirk Gay will give a fundamental session about snare drums, Alan Shinn and Scott Harris will give a session about timpani.
The 2005 PASIC drum convention will also include showcase concerts and evening shows with percussion ensembles, steel bands and more! Part is a special Tribute To Buddy Rich featuring Steve Gadd with the Columbus Jazz Orchestra and Steve Smith with Buddy\'s Buddies.
