Amsterdam based rock trio Voicst has won the 3voor12 Award for their album \"11-11\". Dutch broadcasting company VPRO hands out the Award for the best Dutch album of the last twelve months.

It was the second time the Award was distributed. Last year\'s winner was At The Close Of Everyday for their album \"The Silja Symphony\".
Voicst, featuring Joppe Molenaar on drums (photo), received the 3voor12 Award yesterday, September 7th, along with 1,000 euros cash.
June 2005 saw 3voor12\'s editors put together a shortlist of twelve albums. These releases got into heavy rotation on VPRO radio and extra attention on de 3voor12 website and in record stores. All twelve albums can be fully listened to at the 12 van 3voor12 website.
After long deliberation the twelve headed jury of musicians, pro\'s and public finaly announced Voicst\'s album \"11-11\" as winner. The jury rapport praised the combination of catchy pop and freaked rock.
